Our CEO Ignacio Bincaz presented today at the Low Carbon Investment Summit with Energy Tech Nexus. Looks like it was a great event!
Thanks Energy Tech Nexus, Flathead Forge and MetroNational for hosting today the first Low Carbon Investment Summit in Houston. I enjoyed presenting Advanced Ionics breakthrough electrolysis technology, highlighting how opex and capex efficiency combined makes low-carbon hydrogen competitive.

We had an insightful panel conversation with Sunena Gupta of Cleantech Group and Greg Fleming of ALIAD (Air Liquide Venture Capital) on “Innovating Hydrogen: How Startups are Rethinking Electrolysis” this morning in San Diego. We discussed Greg’s extensive experience in electrolysis, startups and venture capital. Sunena had very insightful questions. I had a chance to share the latest developments at Advanced Ionics, our path to commercialization, the partnerships we are leveraging, like the one with Lummus Technology, and the milestones to look out for. JERA Co., Inc. announced today their investment in Advanced Ionics. We are very excited to work closely with the JERA team to continue on our development journey.
JERA Co., Inc., through JERA Ventures, has invested approx. 2M USD in Advanced Ionics, a US-based company, that develops a new type of electrolyzer technology that uses both electrical and thermal energy to produce hydrogen. The company has developed a unique technology capable of electrolysis in the previously unusable temperature range of 100 -650°C. By combining this technology with various waste heat sources, it significantly reduces the amount of electricity required for water electrolysis, enabling the production of low-carbon hydrogen with high efficiency and low cost. This is expected to contribute to global decarbonization efforts and solutions to energy challenges. JERA is committed to achieving net zero CO2 emissions by 2050 and working to build and expand a low-carbon hydrogen and ammonia supply chain in cooperation with leading companies in Japan and overseas???? #LCF #LowCarbonFuel #Hydrogen #EnergySolutions #Decarbonization
