Recently an AIS nurse went above and beyond to care for her patient and her beloved poodle, Bella. After a change in health required the in-home patient to move into a nursing home, she faced the heartbreaking reality of being unable to take Bella with her. The patient was deeply stressed about Bella’s future. That’s when our nurse stepped in. Her sister had recently lost her dog and was ready to adopt. It was a perfect match! Now, every time the nurse visits her patient in the nursing home, she shares photos and videos of Bella, bringing immense joy and comfort to her patient. This nurse exemplifies the extraordinary compassion and dedication that define our AIS team. She went beyond expectations, not only improving her patient’s quality of life but also finding a loving home for Bella.
