At Ferrovial, we leverage technology to make our complex projects efficient and keep our workers safe. We’ve recently tested using TyBOT, an innovative rebar-tying robot developed by Advanced Construction Robotics, in our I-35 NEX Central Project in San Antonio, Texas. TyBOT is capable of autonomously identifying and tying rebar, thereby managing repetitive and physically demanding tasks. This reduces the risk of injuries and minimizes the necessity for workers to perform tasks at elevated heights. The TyBOT has shown an increase in productivity with its active tie rate surpassing 1,200 ties per hour and its ability to operate under different weather conditions. Through this testing, we identified a subcontractor who will implement the use of the TyBOT in our project.? #WeAreFerrovial #Innovation #AlwaysSafeAlwaysReady
