Today marks my 19th work anniversary, and it's a bit of a unique one – because it's *all* of them! That's right ADT has been my professional home since day one, and what a journey it's been. Fresh out of college, I hit a job fair. 30 minutes in, I was ready to trade my degree for a nap. Everyone wanted my resume and a "we'll call you" (spoiler: they didn't). Escaping the crowd, I hopped in a random elevator, figuring any floor was better than that chaos. Then, a dude starts chatting me up. I'm thinking, "Finally, someone as lost as me!" Nope. He hands me a business card and invites me to his booth. Turns out, my "escape the job fair" plan landed me a job. Who knew random elevator rides were a career move? ( thanks AI for your contribution ) This isn't just a workplace; it's a place where I've built lasting relationships, found mentors, and discovered my passion. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to empower our sales teams, witness their growth & challenges and be a part of their success stories. Thank you to everyone – past and present – who've made every day...interesting. Here's to many more years of equipping our teams with the tools they need to shine, questionable office snacks and to perfecting the art of the perfect training session (and hopefully, finding a reliable source of caffeine)! One of the best things about working at ADT is helping people feel safe in their own home. Today I got to do that for one of my closest friends. Knowing that his family can sleep better at night, and feel better when they are away from their home is one of the great rewards of my job.
