Western Australia’s highly acclaimed tourism destination brand, Walking On A Dream, has gone live in China with striking billboards lighting up Shanghai and Guangzhou.? Located in prime locations across the cities, the billboards showcase Western Australia’s gentle whale shark, serenely floating above the bustling streets. Additionally, Walking On A Dream will be featured across Chinese social media in target areas, showcasing Perth, Ningaloo Reef, Margaret River Region and The Kimberley.? Select partnerships with travel-based companies will promote packages and drive bookings to Western Australia via special offers.? China was WA’s largest market based on visitor spend in 2019, with 73,000 Chinese visitors contributing a huge $367 million to the WA economy.? ? The brand launch follows the announcement that China Southern Airlines will resume its non-stop service between Guangzhou and Perth in November.?
