It was a pleasure to meet with members of the Adler Aphasia Center Maywood campus. Learned from their unique stories and advocacy for aphasia. Through sharing we all find a common ground, inspiration, hope and meaning. #Aphasia #strokerecovery

Our members had a great Something Special “Beading Buddy” event! Our members worked in collaboration with employees from?M&T Bank and Wilmington Trust to create jewelry and other gifts. These employees got to know our members and even tried out using just one hand (like a lot of our members) to hand craft their works. It was a wonderful and productive day! #aphasia?#AphasiaAwarenessMonth #CommunityPartners

We had a great day of learning and networking at #HMHStroke24! We are excited to have our new friends visit and learn more about the Center.
#HMHStroke24 was an incredible day learning the most up-to-date treatment modalities and interventions in the management of Stroke. This annual event is well attended, facilitated networking with vast groups of professionals and created opportunities for lifelong collaboration. Met the one and only Dr Alan Colicchio, M.D. program director and Medical Director Southern Region, Neuroscience Chairman Neuroscience Institute JSUMC. Dr Chinwe Ogedegbe, MD, MPH, MBA, FACEP and other teams members were present. Had the pleasure of meeting Meredith Gemeiner, from Adler Aphasia Center, a non- profit, post rehabilitation organization that is impacting patients in communities! Great opportunities to collaborate. #research is my lens and passion! #communication and #collaboration are my love languages in my professional and personal life. I'm a #connector and #creator ??
