AEI was the proud title sponsor for the 2024 Seabee Ball Golf Tournament.?“SEABEES” aren’t the troops charging the beaches, they are unsung heroes who uniquely carve those beaches from scratch. The US Navy’s Construction Battalions, better known as the Seabees, are a very special breed all on their own. Nicknamed for their “CB” designation, these are the electricians, carpenters, plumbers, and surveyors – the backbone of wartime construction. The goal of the event was to raise extra funds toward their annual ball to show a greater appreciation for what they do for the armed forces.?With the CB’s performing their work nearby and part of our large military community here in Jacksonville, AEI was excited to show our appreciation for what they do in this small way.?It was a great day spent supporting our military while getting to hang with our own coworkers outside the office. The day was filled with tons of memories and countless laughs. Later, our team was extremely humbled when presented with a plaque of appreciation by Captain Dieguez, CDR NAVFAC Southeast. We plan to display it proudly at the office in support of our military. #Seabees #USNavy #BestTeamInTheBusiness #ElectricalConstruction

The AEI team partnered with Mission Possible: Build a Family to provide gifts for a few families in need this holiday season. Mission Possible: Build a Family, a nonprofit dedicated to finding families struggling that need a little boost during the holidays. This past weekend one of our team members hosted a wrap party at their house to gather, assemble, and wrap the gifts that were purchased off their wish lists. It was a perfect day for the team to come together and give back. Everyone felt a little more grateful to have the ability to help make other families Christmas a little easier this year. Today the crew will be delivering all the gifts spreading Christmas cheer! From our family to yours, the entire AEI team would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We are truly humbled and honored to have volunteered at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville today. We learned more about how this amazing foundation operates and even got to see a few families whose lives have been impacted by their outstanding efforts. NLG and Adkins Electric, Inc. enjoyed taking a day to help where we can wherever we can. Ronald McDonald House provides access to healthcare to a vulnerable population by providing lodging so families can be close to a hospital. The social impact Ronald McDonald House makes enables a family to afford to stay close together as they seek the best healthcare for their child’s diagnosis. Ronald McDonald House impacts more than 1,200 families a year, alleviating the tremendous financial burden for more than 5,000 guests that include parents, grandparents, patients and siblings.
