? Alissa & Valentina from ADCI’s interior design team attended Boutique Design | BDNY—Boutique Design New York. This annual trade fair has 700+ exhibitors and connects designers, vendors, and other professionals with a curated selection of hospitality products, educational sessions, and networking events! ?? Here is what Alissa had to say about her experience: “Attending BDNY was an incredible opportunity to learn about and explore the latest innovations in hospitality design. One of the greatest benefits of an event like BDNY is not only seeing and feeling the products firsthand, but also the exposure to diverse perspectives that can transform our approach to design. We were also fortunate to meet with some of our clients to exchange and discuss ideas. These experiences help us stay engaged with the evolving landscape of our field, ensuring that we deliver the best, most up-to-date experiences for our clients. The site visits to OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark are ramping up! We are so excited to see this resort come to life! OKANA will have 11 pools, 12 food & beverage outlets, and a 100,000 square foot Indoor Waterpark. Starting in Spring 2025 it will be home to endless fun regardless of the weather. ??♀? ?? ?? Last week our CFO/President, Jason Sorci, and Vice President, Todd Frawley, went to the 44th Annual World Waterpark Association Trade Show in Las Vegas. ADCI was able to be surrounded by the best of the industry. We realize how lucky we are that the industry is advancing at an incredible pace and how fun it is to be part of the ride. The time at WWA had Todd feeling appreciative: “We are in a period where the question isn't IF there can be an indoor or an outdoor waterpark with some slides, but rather it's how big and how cool of a water attraction can there be.”

We are honored to announce that the World Waterpark Association awarded ADCI with the Leading Edge Award for our work on the indoor waterpark at Wilderness At The Smokies! This can be awarded to individuals or parks for creativity in the development of new themes, facilities, programs, services or operational concepts in the water attractions industry; and to suppliers who have developed new concepts, products or services to the benefit of park members, their customers and the water attractions industry. It is voted on by the WWA board of directors.?

Our Senior Architect, Michael Maas, got the chance to speak at the Heart of Wisconsin’s Community Incubator event. The event provided the ability for the students to view different career opportunities in the county and hear about staff involvement in those careers. “ADCI helps define the identity of businesses and organizations and how they function. By being able to speak with students about this, it offers young adults the ability to learn about the architectural field and decide if it may possibly be a career path they might want to consider. Helping provide vision to a young adult’s career path is an exciting moment.” – Mike M.?
