We are excited to share that Nate Shepp has joined AdaptivAir as Vice President Product Engineering. He will lead engineering efforts for our air handling and fan retrofit products. Nate brings wide ranging expertise from past experience in the mining, nuclear power generation, military defense and custom air handling industries. Months of planning with this plant and our partners have finally produced today the first of two AHU’s being replaced! This new unit has a stainless interior section, pre filters, coated chilled water coil, supply fan wall, gas heat, final filters, and new damper assemblies for the return/outside/supply air. The ABB control panel is particularly nice!?? We were able to get temporary air on today after performing the shutdown and demo only yesterday! We have been staging our modular AdaptivAir Inc units in the drop yard with the “small” crane to allow for the large crane to set up shop and get this done! Thank you to Trumble Crane & Rigging and Justin Jones for always making it happen!?? The curb was reused, but we took care to clean and set new membrane with new stainless steel duct inserts be for setting the air handler. Controls and piping will be completed tomorrow as well as replacing the second air handler tomorrow that is going to be a longer reach! All this fun and get paid too! AdaptivAir Inc is excited to announce that our AHU's are now ETL certified in conformance with UL Standards 60335-1 & 60335-2-40! #AHU

We were excited to partner with H.C. Nye Company to manufacture a pair of field stacked custom AHUs serving an industrial process. The units include 4" thick foam injected walls to handle exposure to frigid temperatures. We also included a custom blue paint color to match the rest of the equipment at the facility. #AHU #Construction #Custom

Lau customer AdaptivAir Inc recently had a challenging air handler installation where there was limited accessibility to install the new unit. Installing a traditional air handler would have required modifications to the building structure for access.?However, their modular air handler design with Lau’s modular stack fans, allow them to safely load each section through a second story window to be reassembled into a complete unit.
