Just arrived in Budapest for the Languages & The Media conference. Can’t wait to see, listen and most importantly learn from a lot brilliant speakers and attendees tomorrow. Also apparently my hotel has the 2nd tallest indoor staircase in Budapest. Now I have to find the 1st! ??

Based in Hong Kong and backed by more than 20 years of experience in the Asian market, Russell is a prominent voice in the localization, dubbing, and voice-over industry.?He is a believer in the power of storytelling and is known for his skill in script adaptation, casting, directing, and managing high profile Film, Television and Video Game localization projects. While working as Head of Dubbing for Red Angel Media in Hong Kong, Russell transformed the studio into a premier white-label dubbing services provider, serving both large global LSP and local clients with content appearing on Theatrical Release, Netflix, Disney+, HBO, FOX, STAR TV, Animax, National Geographic, CNN, RTHK, NHK, PS4, PS5, PC and others. Russell's experience spans from traditional paper and pencil methods to cutting-edge Rythmoband digital workflows, placing him at the forefront of dubbing technology. He's passionate about discovering how current and future tech can further enhance efficiency and quality in the field, making him a perfect fit for our APAC region. In his downtime, Russell enjoys a good morning putter, taking a few moments for daily affirmations, unwinding with friends, travelling and spending quality time with family.
