✅ The Pennsylvania Rural Population Revitalization Commission is excited to share its inaugural publication! 🌟 ✅ This report summarizes the insights gathered from the 10 listening and learning sessions held between September 2024 and January 2025 across the Commonwealth. The Commission partnered with the seven local development districts within the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) territory and Adams Electric Cooperative, Inc., to host these sessions. ✅ The publication reflects the invaluable input from rural community members and local stakeholders who shared their recommendations on how the Commission can best address the challenges of population decline and other key issues in our rural areas. 🌾 Insightful conversations are happening in our rural communities. The PA Rural Population Revitalization Commission, hosted by Adams Electric Cooperative, Inc., recently held another engaging Listening & Learning Session at the Wyndham in Gettysburg, gathering perspectives from community members in Adams and Franklin counties on ways to better support and sustain our rural populations. PA Department of Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding, along with Commission Chairman Dr. Kyle Kopko and Commissioner Mark Critz, Western Regional Director of the PA Dept. of Agriculture, led the discussions. Thank you to Adams Electric Cooperative, Inc. for hosting this event, Secretary Redding, and everyone who shared their thoughts with the Commission. More sessions are coming soon!

Adams completed a member-wide customer satisfaction survey, where over 500 members were asked to participate. The member responses were sent to the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI®), a company that measures customer satisfaction across multiple industries throughout the entire United States. For 2024, the co-op received an ACSI score of 89, on a 100-point scale. “Since the cooperative was founded, it’s always been about our members and improving their quality of life. Here we are, almost 85 years later with the same priorities. This score reflects our efforts in continuing to provide safe, reliable power, at competitive rates, deliver exceptional service to our membership, and help to improve the quality of life in the communities we serve,' says CEO/General Manager Steve Rasmussen.
