This year, Production Assistant Krissy Babcock won the “Win As a Team” award. To call Krissy a team player would be an understatement. “Win As a Team” is a key core value for A+B; it speaks to how we stand together on every project from start to finish — and how we support each other, our collaborators, and our clients, because we work best as a team. No project can be completed by just one person, and the best projects unfold when we can effectively employ the breadth of our individual and collective strengths and personal experiences. Matt Nemia, one of our Carpenters, won the “Rise to the Challenge” award this year. Matt received this distinction because he thinks outside the box, challenges convention, and goes the extra mile. “Rise to the Challenge” means threading the needle in situations where others would give up or push back, separating A+B from others. This core value underscores staying optimistic and positive in the face of difficult situations — and exposes our heartfelt desire to support others. Congratulations to Matt!

This year, Estate Care Manager Julio Fuentes took home the “Bring Your Joy” award. What does that mean, exactly? “Bring Your Joy” is a hugely important A+B core value. It involves bringing enthusiasm, respect, and fun to every aspect of our work. We build with joy and a genuine love of the craft, which in turn grows our experience, relationships, and imaginations. Positive energy is truly contagious, and Julio models that every day. Congratulations, Julio!

Every December, our team gathers to celebrate the season and reflect on another year of work well done.
