Join us for the 2025 ADAMHS Board Annual Meeting on May 12 at Landerhaven. Each year, this event brings together hundreds of community leaders, advocates, clients and people who support mental health and addiction recovery. The annual meeting includes brunch, a keynote, an awards ceremony and a client art show/contest. This year’s theme is Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Behavioral Health presented by Laura Adams. Tickets are $55 per person and a table of 10 is $450. Today, our CEO Scott Osiecki gave a keynote speech at the Beachwood Chamber of Commerce's Mental Health Awareness Luncheon. He discussed the ADAMHS Board's role in creating a seamless system of behavioral healthcare in Cuyahoga County, available mental health resources, the Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services Recovery Friendly Workplace initiative and more. Board Director Sadigoh Galloway of Your Recovery Counseling also spoke about supporting employee mental health in the workplace. Today, members of the faith community from across Northeast Ohio gathered to learn more about trauma-informed care, and how faith can connect and heal. Dr. Joan Evelyn Duvall-Flynn, Ed.D., chair of the Trauma-Informed Education Coalition of Philadelphia, equipped attendees with knowledge of trauma and its impact on the community. Additionally, a multi-faith panel of seven local leaders discussed how they implement trauma-informed practices in their work. Care Response represents a shift in how the community addresses mental health and addiction crisis. The ADAMHS Board has launched a Care Response Pilot Program in zip codes 44102 and 44105 to help ensure that people in need are met with compassionate, expert help.
