Is art really worth the investment? Why are billionaires like Bernard Arnault investing in it? The truth is, art has become one of the most powerful and underrated alternative investment vehicles for the ultra-wealthy. But what makes it so valuable? What many don’t realise is that art is a tangible, finite asset that has historically outperforms traditional investments like stocks. For someone like Bernard Arnault, art is more than just an investment. It’s part of his legacy and cultural influence, as well as a unique way to safeguard wealth from the volatility of the global economy. So, is it only for the ultra-wealthy? Stay tuned for part 2. #artinvestment #artinvesting #artinvestor #bernardarnault #alternativeinvestments #HNWI

Time is your greatest ally when it comes to investing. The earlier you start, the more time your money has to grow through compound interest. The longer your money is invested, the larger the effect of compounding becomes. If you invest $1,000 at age 20 with an average return of 7% annually, by age 60, that initial $1,000 could grow to $14,000. If you wait until you're 30 to invest the same amount, you’ll only end up with around $7,600 by the time you're 60. But if you wait until you're 40 to invest the same amount, you'll only end up with around $3,400 by age 60. That’s a huge difference, thanks to 10 extra years of compounding. #CompoundInterest #investing101 #StartInvestingNow

  • Can you have a high net worth and still be poor? Yes. In many cases, people with a high net worth may own large homes, luxury items, or have expensive tastes. But if their income doesn’t align with their spending habits, they might struggle with debt, live paycheck to paycheck, or even face bankruptcy. Take Burt Reynolds, for example. He was a major movie star in the '60s, '70s, and '80s, but was forced to declare bankruptcy in the '90s. Reynolds spent heavily on real estate, a private jet, 150 horses, and over $100,000 on toupees in the '80s, according to a Vanity Fair profile. After an expensive marriage to Loni Anderson, he also faced a costly divorce. This shows that wealth isn’t just about the assets you own. It’s about managing your money wisely. No matter how much you make or how valuable your assets are, without proper financial planning, cash flow management, and responsibility, you can still end up in financial trouble. If you need help managing your wealth, feel free to reach out to me. I’ve helped expats and high-net-worth individuals in over 100 countries grow and preserve their wealth. • MONEY CAN'T BUY YOU HEALTH! I recently had a medical procedure - just to check something, nothing serious - which is probably why I looked so relaxed! But it made me realise something huge about life. Health should always come first. Being wheeled from room to room, while staring up at the ceiling, it suddenly dawned on me: spending months in a hospital would be a nightmare. That’s why we should take care of our health while enjoying life, striving to find the right balance. Money can’t buy you health or any guarantees about keeping it, but it can give you the ability to make choices, provide insurance, and offer peace of mind. It also can’t buy love or friendship, but it can put you in a better position to meet the right people. So, in the end, money is more of an enabler than a guarantee. We all need to take better care of ourselves before it’s too late. #livelife #livewell
