Friday’s Reflection: Two Days of Learning, Networking, and Great Conversations This week was packed with inspiration as I attended the Second Annual Southern Technology and AI Summit in Douglasville, Georgia. What a fantastic event! The location was great, but even more important—the organization was spot on. A huge thank you to Georgia Automotive Manufacturers Association, Rick Walker, and the entire team for putting this together so well. Day 1 was all about networking and connecting with industry peers. Walking through the exhibitor hall, you could feel the energy—so many good discussions about innovation, challenges, and the future of AI in our industries. Unfortunately, I had to miss the reception in the evening (sometimes scheduling just doesn’t work out), but the conversations throughout the day more than made up for it. Day 2 kicked off just right: fresh coffee, a continental breakfast, and even better networking. You know those moments when you meet people who just “get it”? That happened a lot! And then came the sessions—some of the best presentations I’ve seen in months. The speakers were on point, sharing real insights and not just theory. This is exactly why I love events like this—learning from experts, getting different perspectives, and walking away with ideas I can actually apply. If you ever get the chance to attend a GAMA event, I highly recommend it. These aren’t just conferences; they’re opportunities to grow, connect, and be part of something bigger.
