Our own Malik Brown moderated an incredible session on a critical topic at DIVERSiTECH 2025. Creating pathways to economic nobility through free upskilling for adult learners, takes strong willed individuals and organizations to address this challenge in the region. Joining him in this conversation was Charity R. Tucker (Wells), Tina-Marie Gulley, and Joshua Park. Takeaways: “Including programs like financial wellness leads to increased economy…” “We are reaching people who are not historically being reached…” “Be adaptable to the needs of the market and employers…” This all hits home for me in several ways. 1. Pathways are different for many of us, and it takes a collective effort to uncover the rich and unknown opportunities that exist. 2. Networking is talked about in a variety of ways, but how many of us are maximizing and prioritizing existing/ new professional relationships. 3.
