Happy #WomensHistoryMonth! Tomorrow is also #InternationalWomensDay, and we’re celebrating by showcasing a special project we were proud to be featured on. CPKC Stadium is a soccer-specific stadium located in Kansas City, MO that serves as the home ground for the Kansas City Current of the National Women's Soccer League. It is the first-ever stadium built specifically for a women’s professional sports team and in 2024, the Current became the first NWSL team to sell out all of their home matches. Wireless controls from nLight? and luminaires from Gotham Lighting?, Hydrel? and Lithonia Lighting? are utilized throughout the stadium, helping to create a stunning and “inclusive experience that is welcoming to all”. The project was in collaboration with Premier Lighting & Controls, Generator Studio and Henderson Engineers. Photography was shot by Nate Sheets Photography.
