Striking a balance between hard work and fun is what we do best at Acuity Technical Solutions, and this year’s holiday party at The Apex at Red Hawk Resort + Casino was no exception. After a year of big projects and even bigger milestones, it felt good to knock down some pins instead of deadlines. 2024 has been nothing short of transformative for Acuity. We welcomed three fantastic new employees—Matt, Shasta, and Elijah—who brought fresh perspectives and energy that helped us knock down even the toughest projects. Their first year with us proved they were ready to hit the ground running, and their contributions have already made a significant impact. This year wasn’t just about professional achievements; personal milestones also took center stage. Matt and Megan, both valued members of the Acuity family, got engaged, adding a little extra sparkle to our celebrations. Alyssa married her husband Josh, who together made the three hour drive from Fresno to Sacramento to join the party, proving her dedication both on and off the job. Joel proposed to his now fiancé Jessica, who joined us for our night of bowling and surprised us all with her hidden bowling talents. Josh came along and stole the bowling spotlight with the highest score of the night—a solid 136. Not to be outdone, Joel came in just six pins behind with a score of 130, while Matt rounded out the top three with a respectable 118. We'd share the low scores too, but in the spirit of Christmas we'll spare the rest of the team from the embarrassment. The night wasn’t just about strikes and spares—it was about connection. Darrell and his team came together to celebrate not just the holidays but each other. It’s the support we give and receive—at work and at home—that keeps us rolling smoothly, even when the pins are stacked against us. Looking back on 2024, we’re proud of what we’ve achieved as a team. From onboarding new talent to delivering exceptional results for our clients, we’ve shown what happens when everyone is aligned and committed to knocking down goals, one frame at a time. As we close the books on this incredible year, we look forward to 2025 with excitement, ambition, and a team that knows how to strike the perfect balance between excellence and camaraderie.
