?? Celebrating Teaching Excellence at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi!
Last Friday, we had the honor of joining Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi for their ACUE pinning ceremony, recognizing over 30 faculty members who earned their Certificate in the Effective Teaching Practice Framework! Hosted at the Center for Faculty Excellence, this event was a powerful testament to the university’s commitment to student success and #teachingexcellence.
?
A special thank you to:
? Dr. Susan Wolff Murphy and Lorena N. for their leadership in recruitment and awareness on campus
? Dr. Gina Hawkins and ACUE Academic Director Lauren K. Foster, PhD, for their dedication to motivating and engaging course-takers
? Dr. SHONDA GIBSON and Dr. Kimberly Rynearson for their partnership and guidance in supporting this Student Success Initiative across the TAMU System
? Dr. Catherine Rudowsky, Provost of TAMU-Corpus Christi, for her leadership and role in this special event
TAMU-Corpus Christi is part of the Texas A&M University System, which has been an ACUE partner since 2020. Across the system, nearly 1,000 faculty have been certified in ACUE’s Framework, impacting 900,000+ students and contributing to a 12% decrease in DFW rates among students taught by ACUE-certified instructors in the university system.
