Active Surfaces was covered in a business school case at MIT Sloan School of Management today! From our co-founder, Shiv, sitting in the very accounting class in E51 during his MIT Leaders for Global Operations (LGO) degree two short years ago to the company being featured in a case in 2024, it's been an exciting journey. There's no better place than the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to connect world-changing, passionate technologists with innovative, principled leaders. Thanks Christopher Noe, Justin Morris, and Joseph Weber for the feature and thanks Annabella Gong, Theodore Sun, and Karla Beltran for the picture!

It was an absolute privilege to visit with Boston Solar and Resonant Energy's incredible project in Jamaica Plain! ?? The opportunity to visit installation sites like this is critical as we craft our solution to lowering the cost of C&I solar. Seeing the 121kW system in action and knowing it’s supporting a mixed-income, affordable apartment community is what makes all the hard work worth it. Big thanks to Mike Morlino and team for the opportunity. Boston Solar, a trusted partner of the Boston Red Sox, has delivered customized solar energy solutions to over 6,000 households in New England for the past 13 years, and completed projects for small businesses and even the iconic Fenway Park, home of the Red Sox. At Active Surfaces, we're not just developing new lightweight, flexible panels – we’re accelerating the adoption of clean affordable energy and unlocking more solar for more people in more places. ?? #ActiveSurfaces #BostonSolar #ResonantEnergy #ClimateAction #SolarForAll Dusty Stahl Shiv Bhakta ?? MIT Sloan School of Management
Had the privilege of joining Dusty Stahl and Shiv Bhakta ?? from Active Surfaces at a Boston Solar commercial installation in Jamaica Plain, Boston last week! This project was developed by our partners at Resonant Energy for a newly rehabbed, mixed-income, affordable apartment community featuring a 121.24 kW DC / 100 kW AC rooftop solar system consisting of 250 panels and estimated to generate 130,296 kWhs in its first year of operation. Regularly visiting installation sites allows our leadership team to engage with teams and customers, ensuring we address pressing issues and enhance our efficiency and service. Collaborating with Active Surfaces, pioneers in solar technology, adds value to the experience. Active Surfaces is reshaping solar energy's role in combating climate change, expanding solar potential, and accelerating adoption through MIT-patented, flexible solar technology. Together, we aim to drive positive change for a sustainable future. Excited about the possibilities when we unite for a common goal!
