Thank you to ACEC New York for hosting a great 2025 Winter Conference! The sessions were engaging and informational where we learned and discussed the latest in our industry, and the social events were an excellent way to connect with colleagues and expand our networks. I particularly enjoyed the presentation by Peter C. Atherton, P.E. surrounding Next-Level Leadership – what a great message. The first and (hopefully) annual Cornhole Tournament was a blast! Much is being planned for the new year, including the launching of the *5th Annual* Present & Future of Work in Engineering and Architecture survey [coming very soon!], a new season of the #AEC Leadership Today Podcast, and *maybe* an official launch of “Next-Level Leadership” (released earlier this fall) with the much requested “executive book club”… but in the meantime… … it’s been about a week since “Gotcha Day” and this 1- to 2-year-old is finally sleeping through the night, playing with toys, and trusting new mom and dad!
