Action Training Systems' is excited to announce a new training series for the Fire Service Community. This 12-title series is based on NFPA 1010, Chapter 5 for the "Support Person" position. This is a new role for those who want to volunteer but may not have the time, or physical abilities to pursue Firefighter I training. The standard defines this position with reduced required training hours, and JPRs outside the hazard area. This could be the answer for Volunteer and Combination Departments to increase recruitment and retention of members in your community. With the Support Person position, you can also increase operational efficiency, and safety on scene.
