To me, hospitality is more than service; it’s about making people feel truly seen and valued. Every button, interaction, and flow I design is a small piece of that mission—making our tools as user-friendly and intuitive as possible so they’re ready to meet the needs of those who use them every day. When I'm not designing, you’ll probably catch me out on the town, trying out new food spots, or enjoying an authentic culinary experience (like in this picture!). Whether it's the rich flavors of Brazilian cuisine or discovering something new from around the world, I love how food can connect people and cultures. A fun fact? I've lived abroad, which gave me a deeper appreciation for different cultures and has shaped my empathetic approach to design. Hola beautiful people! Kassidy Matos taking over, and it's nice to meet you all! I’m so excited to be taking over our LinkedIn for the day! I joined Actabl about four months ago as a Profit Sword Software Support Engineer, and it's honestly been the BEST job I’ve ever had. Day to day, you can find me within TS, where I focus mostly on new client implementations and integrations, sorting through code, fixing data, and making sure everything just works for our clients. My background is unconventional, to say the least. I received my Bachelor's of Science in Health Administration and worked as a hospital administrator for some time. But I found I wasn't truly passionate about it, so I decided to go back to school (with a 3-month-old baby, which is probably one of my proudest achievements aside from being his mommy) and pursue my dreams in tech. I completed a full-stack bootcamp in Software Engineering and eventually gravitated towards backend development. What I love most about my position with Profit Sword is that I get a piece of all the action—whether it’s front-end UI fixes, backend tasks, or even more elaborate projects like creating new builds for our clients. Every day, I get to touch so many different things, and the knowledge I gain here is honestly endless. A little about me: I live in Saint Cloud, FL—yes, still close to Disney, but I consider myself more of a Universal Studios lover because I'm a die-hard Potterhead and love to escape to Hogwarts in my off time. I have two sons: one human toddler named Shiloh Kassius, and one dog named Huncho. Outside of work, you can find me traveling, in the ocean, reading a lot, cooking, doing boy mom activities, hanging with my family, or probably knee-deep in a Udemy course. My current obsession is AI, and I’m interested in getting into machine learning and eventually landing a position with the AI dev team here at Actabl. I swear it’s not just because I’m taking over social media today that I love my job, but I TRULY love everything about Actabl—my team members, our community, our beliefs, and work-life balance. I've held many positions in the past, but nothing compares to Actabl. Everything is amazing, and I’m truly blessed to call this place my work home.
