They needed help layering additional cybersecurity tools on top of its existing technology infrastructure to combat the rising challenges posed by viruses, malware, and ransomware attacks by cyber actors. 🛠️ The Solution We conducted a comprehensive audit of the client’s IT platform and collaborated with their CFO to implement four new cybersecurity applications: - ConnectWise Fortify SaaS: Provides real-time security information event management (SIEM) and monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to security threats in Microsoft 365, and initiating investigations through the Microsoft Security Operations Center (SOC) 24/7. - Datto SaaS Protection: Prevents Microsoft 365 data loss through daily backups three times a day, along with flexible restoration options. - ACS Patch Management: Ensures continuous software patching for select third-party applications, maintaining cybersecurity readiness. - KnowBe4: Provides integrated and customized phishing and ransomware attack training for employees. Additionally, we brought the client’s operating environment up-to-date by upgrading their entire workforce from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and moving them to Microsoft Office 365. The goal of this update was to create a safer, more secure environment while offering employees access to a broader array of technology tools to enhance productivity. Following the initial improvements, we collaborated with the client to align their budget with their future IT infrastructure needs.
