When I was working with companies that were doing underground utility work, I often saw people getting injured. I was convinced there had to be a better and safer way, so I started reading OSHA materials and decided to go to college to study risk management and safety administration. The crash occurred at night and the helicopter was flying above its route altitude restriction. The core issue? A known risk that had been ignored for years. ?????? ????????????????: ? Inadequate separation between helicopters and jets—an "intolerable risk," according to the NTSB. ? 85 high-risk near misses near DCA (Reagan National) since 2011. ? Over 50% of incidents involved helicopters potentially exceeding altitude restrictions. ?
