Our Director César Terrazas-Nájera presented at the Solid Freeform Fabrication Symposium this past week on the use of various laser sources in LPBF
It was great being back to Austin TX for the Solid Freeform Fabrication Symposium last week. Glad I was able to catch up with many long time colleagues in the AM community. I had the opportunity to present on recent developments occurring at Aconity3D GmbH to implement laser sources with atypical intensity distributions (other than Gaussian) in LPBF to drive gains in productivity while enabling processing of challenging materials and controlling their performance.
