This November, we’re celebrating two dedicated Acme Tools team members who have reached important career milestones—marking 5 and 10 years with us! We’re thankful for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to our team. Here’s to many more successful years ahead! Each of these team members shared their thoughts on what they love most about working at Acme Tools. 𝟱 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 Kirsten Hampl — 𝘊𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘳 𝘚𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘚𝘶𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘳 (𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴, 𝘕𝘋) This anniversary marks a significant milestone in my journey, and I’m excited to look ahead to even greater achievements in the years to come. Our company's management is fueled by a strong commitment to growth, and I’m proud to be part of such an incredible team. I am always looking forward to what I might get to haul or what new equipment they’ll get next.

We’re excited to announce that Acme Equipment is expanding to Bismarck, ND! The Acme Tools retail store in Bismarck has already begun providing Kubota sales, parts and service support for the area with a new Acme Equipment location opening on Channel Drive in early 2025. Each of these team members shared their thoughts on what they love most about their role and working at Acme Tools. 𝟓 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 Cameron Brevik — 𝘛𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘚𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘴 (𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴, 𝘕𝘋) My favorite thing about my role is traveling and meeting new and interesting people. My favorite thing about Acme as an organization is that it feels like you are treated like family and people are willing to help you with anything if you ask. Ken Cole — 𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘩 (𝘋𝘦𝘴 𝘔𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴, 𝘐𝘈) I like my co-workers and doing the work that I enjoy. 𝟏𝟎 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 Cody Dengel — 𝘞𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘚𝘶𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘳 (𝘉𝘪𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘬, 𝘕𝘋) I enjoy being able to run my department and making decisions to benefit our and other locations. 𝟐𝟎 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 Mike Anderson — 𝘛𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘚𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘴 (𝘉𝘪𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘬, 𝘕𝘋) I enjoy the relationships I have developed with my customers. I like helping them make their job easier by offering the right tools for their job. I also like that Acme is flexible with personal schedules outside of work.

Northwest Service Cooperative of Minnesota awarded Gabe Baudeck of ACME Tools, Bemidji the Industry Partner of the Year for providing customer support and assisting with the acquisition of supplies and tools for participating schools. Gabe was given the award during the professional development conference for construction and technology education teachers on Thursday, Oct. 10, at the Eagle’s Club in Bemidji. Congratulations Gabe on doing a great job in helping these important schools and educators to "Do Their Best Work."

Acme Tools and Acme Equipment of Fargo are proud to support Fix It Forward Ministry and their mission to provide safe, reliable transportation to those in need. Recently, we donated a large trailer to the organization, allowing them to transport up to 12 toolboxes—nearly double what they could haul with their old trailer. This donation will significantly boost their efficiency and enable more volunteers to serve at once. Fix It Forward Ministry has donated 518 vehicles and provided free service on over 1,000, helping countless families over the past 9 years. Acme is honored to play a part in this mission and help Fix It Forward Ministry continue making a difference in our community!

Our Kubota sales staff had the opportunity to attend the Kubota Connect Conference in Dallas, TX this week. We spent time learning about the newest innovations in Kubota equipment and are so excited to share with our customers the latest Kubota product launches, coming soon!

What I like most about Acme Tools as an organization is that it is family owned. The environment here is personable and your opinion matters. Heather McFarland — 𝘐𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘊𝘰𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳 (𝘍𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘰, 𝘕𝘋) What I like most about my role is being able to help people out with getting items to meet the customer’s needs. Casey Pearson — 𝘊𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘳 𝘚𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘚𝘶𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘳 (𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴, 𝘕𝘋) I enjoy the ability to help my team and assist them in their own growth either with the team or to expand to other ventures with Acme. Jade Fertig — 𝘈𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵 (𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴, 𝘕𝘋) What I like most about my role with Acme is that it challenges me on daily basis to problem solve, adapt and to develop and shape our ERP system to meet the needs of a changing business landscape when it comes to technology. What I like most about Acme as an organization is that it lives up to its mantra of “Do Your Best Work.” 𝟭𝟬 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 Steve Kurak — 𝘛𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘚𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘴 (𝘗𝘭𝘺𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩, 𝘔𝘕) I enjoy the relationships I have built with my customers and the resulting mutual growth.

With a heavy heart, we are sharing that Dan Kuhlman, one of our owners and long-time president of Acme Tools, passed away on Monday, September 9th. Dan is the second-generation of the Kuhlman family who joined the company in 1962 and, with the help of his family and dedicated employees, helped grow and form Acme into what it is today. Dan was not only a visionary leader but also a guiding force who shaped our company with unwavering dedication and passion. His contributions over the years have been instrumental in our success, and his legacy will continue to inspire us all. Our deepest condolences are with the Kuhlman family and all who had the pleasure of working with Dan over the years. Each of these team members shared their thoughts on what they love most about their role and working at Acme Tools. 𝟱 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 Brady Klemetson — 𝘐𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘳 (𝘍𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘰, 𝘕𝘋) The thing I like most about my role and the organization is the flexibility that is given to me when something comes up in my personal life. Philip Morton — 𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘯 (𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴, 𝘕𝘋) I like the consistent work hours and customer interaction. 𝟭𝟬 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 Tracy Smith — 𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘯 (𝘉𝘪𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘬, 𝘕𝘋) The daily challenge of supplying customer's needs and satisfying their expectations is what I look forward to everyday. This reveals one's limitations. Acme Tools encourages its employees and provides resources to adapt and overcome those limitations. Pamela Blekestad — 𝘈𝘥𝘮𝘪𝘯 𝘈𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵 (𝘋𝘶𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘩, 𝘔𝘕) I enjoy taking care of the customers to make sure that they are getting the level of customer service that they need and deserve. 𝟭𝟱 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 Will Smith — 𝘉𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘖𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘳 (𝘉𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘴𝘷𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦, 𝘔𝘕) My role requires me to visit every location and department. It's great being able to meet and get to know so many awesome folks within the company.

Another year, another well-deserving group of Cedar Valley Home Builder's Association Scholarship recipients. This year, I advocated to open up applications to apprentices in addition to college students as both are of equal importance in the construction industry. Apprentices were awarded an Acme Tools gift certificate to acquire the tools necessary to be successful in their chosen profession, and college students received academic scholarships. All recipients received a 3-piece Milwaukee Packout toolbox set courtesy of Acme Tools and Milwaukee Tool to utilize in their career endeavors.
