This incredible team presented a very engaging panel discussion, "Optimizing Team Decision-Making and Risk Allocation with Progressive Design-Build" today at the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Conference & Expo in Dallas, TX. The panel dove deep into the best practices of Progressive Design-Build using the California Department of General Services Resources Building Renovation (RBR) in Sacramento as an example.?Panelist included (photographed left to right): Wendy MacLeod of Turner Construction Company; Mike Courtney of Cypress Construction Management LLC ; Grit Pasker of AC Martin; Jason Horwedel of Buehler; and Nick Rossi of California Department of General Services. AC Martin Managing Principal and Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Board Member, Susan O'Connell will be speaking on a panel Friday, November 8th at the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) 2024 Conference & Expo in Dallas, TX. The panel, "The Design Community, Design Management, and Design-Build" will discuss findings of the DBIA Design Professional Advisory and Engagement Committee regarding successful designer engagement in design-build and developing strategies to make design-build more appealing to the design community.
