After a whirlwind few months, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve joined the ACLU of Indiana. It’s a privilege to work with such a dedicated team that is passionately committed to civil rights and social justice. We’ve hit the ground running this summer, focusing on critical election information to ensure that disenfranchised voters have their voices heard. Here’s a glimpse of what we’re doing: ?? Distributing thousands of voter information materials: We’re making sure everyone has access to the information they need to participate in the electoral process, regardless of their background and ident. ?? Ensuring representation at community events across the state: We’re actively engaging with communities, attending events, and ensuring that everyone knows their rights and how to exercise them. ?? Hosting valuable conversations about voting this election season: We believe that informed voters are empowered voters. We’re facilitating discussions that not only educate but also inspire action. As we move into the legislative session, our commitment to protecting our rights remains steadfast. It’s crucial that we advocate for policies that promote equity and justice for all.
