We’re getting into the groove at 400 Central per Sr PM: John Vazquez, PM: Dan Mantione, Asst PM: Alvin Samara, QA/QC: Steve Campbell, and Gen Foreman: Sean Mann! With multiple phases happening simultaneously, Ackerman Plumbing is all over this building. BIM coordination is finally nearing completion as we reach level 43 in the design phase. We’re on the deck laying out sleeves and floor drains for level 31. Condensate risers are nudging level 27. Meanwhile, sanitary and storm risers are sprouting up the building into level 26, with overhead branches trailing behind at level 25. Natural Gas risers are blooming into level 24, while domestic water main risers are springing into level 23. Down below, we are following the framers with in-wall and overhead PEX and shower valves being installed on level 17; bathtubs and shower basins to follow. Drywall is set to begin on level 16 this week. On level 8, tile is about to begin; fixtures are scheduled for installation in the middle of May. On the lower floors, we have a separate crew wrapping up in-wall/overhead inspections on level 3 and moving onto level 4. We’ve had a two-man crew laying out in the garage, and we are set to begin roughing-in the garage storm system this week. Next week, we’ll be back on the ground floor digging trenches and installing underground piping with our reliable excavator.
