The Colorado River Indian Tribes (CRIT) is launching a major project to bring high-speed internet to its community! With a $25 million grant from the USDA ReConnect program, a 191-mile fiber optic network will soon connect CRIT members, enhancing access to education, healthcare, and business opportunities. CRIT Project Coordinator Thai Yang says, “With this broadband expansion we are addressing a critical need and insuring no one is left behind.” Our very own PE, Tino Kehagias, was proud to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking this exciting milestone for CRIT’s digital future and sovereignty. #CRIT #BroadbandExpansion #FiberOpticNetwork #USDAReConnect #CommunityImpact #DigitalSovereignty https://lnkd.in/gf8Dwhbr

The discussion at this morning’s #ConnectedAmerica keynote panel was engaging and insightful as industry leaders tackled some of the biggest challenges in fiber deployment and accessibility. I had the privilege of joining Cameron Kilton of Nextlink Internet, Jose Espinel of Comcast, Thomas Monahan of AT&T, and Christopher Ali of Penn State University to discuss key topics, including: ?? Bridging the gap between fiber demand and supply ?? Balancing FTTH expansion while avoiding overbuilding ?? Strategies to grow the fiber deployment labor pool ?? The role of funding programs in accelerating broadband access A huge thank you to my fellow panelists and to Fiber Broadband Association for leading these critical conversations. The work we do together is shaping the future of broadband, ensuring fast, reliable, and future-proof fiber connectivity for all. Let’s keep pushing forward! #FiberBroadband #Fiber #Broadband #FiberBroadbandAssociation #DigitalOpportunity #DigitalDivide
