We’re pleased to announce that our current EVP and CFO Fahmi Karam will become Upbound’s next CEO and join our Board of Directors effective June 1, 2025. CEO Mitch Fadel has decided to retire as chief executive officer and step down from the Board after 40 years with Upbound. Mitch will remain as Upbound’s CEO and on the Board during a transition period over the next few months. Fahmi brings a strong track record of operational excellence and deep knowledge of the business, and as CFO for the past two and a half years has played an instrumental role in our success. We are excited about our next chapter and we look forward to building on our solid foundation and accelerating our growth strategy with Fahmi at the helm. At the same time, we’d like to express our deepest gratitude to Mitch for his invaluable leadership over many years, for his commitment to our Company and for strongly positioning Upbound to capitalize on the robust opportunities that lie ahead.
