Wynne, Jr. is the founder, former CEO, and current Chairman of Fortis Solutions Group, a leading provider of printed packaging solutions servicing customers across the U.S. and Canada from 22 manufacturing locations. He grew the business from a single location offering one product line in Virginia Beach, VA to a North American platform with multiple product lines and printing capabilities. Prior to entering the labeling business in 2010, Mr. Wynne held various positions within the investment banking units of Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley in New York. He was a founding Board member and investor of Mosquito Joe, the nation’s leading franchisor in the mosquito control services industry that was sold to Dwyer Group in 2018. Mr. Wynne is Chair of the Board of Trustees of Norfolk Academy, Vice Chair of the Hampton Roads Community Foundation and a Board member of ivWatch and DroneUp. Mr. Wynne received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University where he was a member of three National and four Ivy League lacrosse championship teams. Mr. Wynne earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business.

In this role, he is a member of a team responsible for initiating relationships with clients by understanding their objectives and presenting solutions across the firm’s comprehensive capabilities in Investment Management, Wealth Planning, and Family Office Services. Prior to joining Bessemer, Mark worked as a policy specialist for a former U.S. senator at Van Ness Feldman, LLP in Washington, D.C. Mark began his career as an enlisted field artillery paratrooper in the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division. He deployed to Haiti during Operation Unified Response in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake. Mark earned a B.A. in government from Georgetown University. He is currently pursuing an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business with an expected graduation date in May of 2026.

His path to joining a law firm is not the traditional one; after graduate school, he began full-time in 2007 as a member of his family’s business, founded by his father in 1983. In 2007, the company had reached its pinnacle with over half a billion dollars in assets, and the commercial real estate industry was booming.?The family was pursuing a real offer to sell its portfolio to a global private equity company but decided against it partly due to lack of a plan for life after the transaction. Shortly thereafter, the Great Recession occurred, and the commercial real estate sector suffered badly.?After staying on for eight years to help stabilize the family business,?Tejal?started his own commercial real estate private equity firm raising nearly $100mm in capital from high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and other institutional investors. Despite initial success, another “once-in-a-lifetime” event, the COVID-19 pandemic, roiled his business plans. With this experience and perspective,?Tejal?decided to join Hook Law to help counsel clients through the succession planning thought process. Today, in addition to counseling clients, he is leading the succession planning efforts for Hook Law itself, as well as working on commercial real estate development projects in the area with his father.
