The preschool building design was inspired by the beauty of outdoor surroundings, incorporating vaulted ceilings and abundant windows for maximum natural light. Interior elements include dedicated bathrooms featuring easily accessible vanities for children and adults, a kitchenette for snack preparation, floor-to-ceiling cabinetry with reading nooks, cubby holes for children to store backpacks, a staff break room, and thoughtfully crafted millwork throughout. Throwback Thursday: This week, Acella Construction is reflecting on our work at the Congregation Sha'aray Shalom in Hingham. Acella managed several renovations within the space, including: *Dukta Janis Flexible Wood Ceiling: Installed customizable wood slats for enhanced aesthetics and acoustics. *Restroom Faucets Upgrade: Added motion-sensor faucets to improve hygiene and conserve water. *Prefinished Rift Oak Doors: Installed 9-foot rift oak doors, integrating them seamlessly with existing hardware for improved functionality. *Concrete Slab Enhancements: Executed saw-cutting and patching for plumbing, along with constructing a 5-inch-thick concrete patio, a wheelchair-accessible ramp, footings, and well-designed stairs. Welcome Wednesday: Acella Construction is excited to welcome The Goddard School Quincy location to our portfolio! The renovations at the Quincy location included significant interior alterations and enhancements across approximately 7,555 square feet on the building's first floor. This transformation created a vibrant learning environment tailored for young children. Several dedicated classrooms were designed to encourage a love for learning and collaboration among students. The facility also features a state-of-the-art gym, equipped for physical education and recreational activities, promoting children's health and fitness. Additionally, there is an outdoor playground area designed with safety and opportunities for social interaction in mind. We have added a fully stocked kitchen to provide nutritious meals and snacks, supporting the overall well-being of the students. The design also includes private offices and a spacious conference room, along with ample storage space. The Goddard Schools are committed to understanding and nurturing the natural learning processes of children.
