Statement from ACEC New York President & CEO John T. Evers on relaunch of Congestion Pricing: "ACEC New York applauds the actions taken by Governor Hochul today to restart the congestion pricing program in the new year. With a transportation system that’s more than 120 years old, the MTA has substantial needs that should be addressed by this infusion of funds, helping to modernize a system that is critical to New York’s economic future. We look forward to working with the MTA and our government partners to ensure significant improvements are made – so we can improve the quality of life for millions of New Yorkers."

Last week I had the privilege to attend the SOMOS Conference in Puerto Rico on behalf of ACEC New York . It was a great opportunity to connect with Elected Officials and advocates from across the state that are working to make New York a better place. Discussing some of ACEC New York’s priorities including the state’s disparity study, funding for the MTA and increased funding for NYSDOT were things that resonated with members which we are looking forward to discussing this session.
