Thank you ACE Mentor Program of America for highlighting one of the best parts of our program - the hands-on trades classes! The masonry class, where students get to lay their own brick walls, is one of the many favorites! Thank you to all the mentors and volunteers International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers - local #3 who helped this amazing class happen!

The 2024-2025 ACE Mentor Program of Rochester has been incredibly successful this year, and we invite you to join us in celebrating this amazing class of students at our annual graduation! ???? The event will be held at the Memorial Art Gallery from 4-7 pm on Friday, April 4th. It is free to attend, but we always appreciate any donations to the program - your support helps us grow larger each year and 100% of the proceeds go directly to the program! ?

Our Playhouse Program students for this year's ACE Mentor Program of Rochester are making tremendous progress on building their design creations. I would like to thank all of our mentors for their tireless support, Aubrey Marrero for hosting our build nights at the ITEC Training & Education Center and especially Sam Cannioto of Home Leasing for all the work he has put into making the students designs come to life. ??

ACE Students gathered at the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee with Rochester Electrical Union #86 to learn all about electrical construction! ???? Students learned how to bend electrical conduit, wire a switch to a light fixture, and wiring electrical outlets! ??? Thanks again to the mentors and volunteers who helped make this trades day such a success! ????♀?

Playhouse Program 2024 Photo Roundup! ??????♂???? Our Playhouse Program has been a staple of the ACE Mentor Program of Rochester since its inception, growing to the largest class yet with 40 students and 21 mentors! ?? These photos showcase the amazing variety of classes the students have had so far including understanding construction drawings, Sketchup software lessons, mock bid day, and a fun hands-on class learning about principles of structural engineering! ?????? Stay tuned as the students transition to the next part of the program - building their playhouses! ??

Community Parks 2024 Photo Roundup! ?????????♂? The ACE Mentor Program of Rochester has had the Community Parks Program for 4 years now, each year growing with popularity. This year we have our largest group yet with 27 students and 10 mentors! ?? Please check out the awesome photos from the Community Parks classes over the past few months - students worked in groups learning about civil engineering, urban design, computer software, and they also visited a site! ?? Stay tuned for more photos as the students transition to something new for the rest of the program - a design-build project! ???
