On this day 23 years ago, I was at home with my infant daughter when my husband returned home from 3rd shift. He scrammbled up the stairs to our house telling me about the first tower that was struck. I didn't believe him and raced downstairs with my daughter securely wrapped in my arms. It was minutes before the second tower was hit. The following days that ensued were me being glued to the television watching and waiting for survivors. Many tears were shed as many lives were lost. #neverforget
