ACCTING has mapped bottom-up initiatives across 34 countries, showcasing how communities, organisations, and individuals are driving inclusive and sustainable change in response to climate challenges. One inspiring initiative is the VERBUND Assistance Fund, in partnership with Caritas Austria and BSH Hausger?te AG, tackling energy poverty in Austria with a holistic, community-driven approach. By combining professional energy consulting, appliance replacement, and financial assistance, the initiative helps low-income households lower their energy costs and improve efficiency. ??
