There’s so much chatter among Home Health and Hospice attendees, presenters, and peers as they connect between sessions to brainstorm solutions for the unique problems their agencies face. ??Home Health and Hospice professionals have been filling the 30 informative and interactive sessions for their tracks. National Alliance for Care at Home's Katie Wehri shared industry updates, and Hummingbird Homecare Consulting's Alicia Montelongo-Vargas and AvaCare, Inc.'s Ellen Fulp, PharmD, MSPC, BCGP, FAAHPM, provided actionable knowledge. Home Health and Hospice attendees gained from sessions led by Joe Osentoski of Gateway Home Health Coding and Consulting. Over breakfast, Jennifer Burke and Tammy Turner of McLeod Health chatted about a favorite session, "Icebergs & ADRs," led by Joe. They’re now equipped with strategies related to medical review and appeals to take back to their team. And Andrea Van Meter of Trio Home Health & Hospice, a new ACHC customer, said she gained essential knowledge and resources from ACHC presenter Becky Tolson's session, “Blueprint for Home Health Accreditation Success.” ??Everywhere we turn, connections are being made. Attendees from companies large and small will take back new knowledge to help their teams improve the quality of patient care.

??It’s Day 2, and we’re revving things up at #ACHCUAcademy in Dallas! The crowd posed for a selfie with ACHC CEO and President José Domingos as he welcomed our attendees to another great day of learning and networking. Dr. Kevin Snyder, CSP? continued to inspire us with his “Shift Thinker Mindset” and showed us how we can reframe the word “No” to mean “New Opportunity.” ??The great memories from last night's Welcome Reception fun are still reverberating as we head to our first sessions of the morning.
