CrowdStrike Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) and what it means for AIT customers At AIT, we understand the critical importance of maintaining robust security across all digital environments. In light of the recent issues experienced globally due to a CrowdStrike update, we want to reassure our customers and partners of our ongoing efforts to ensure their systems remain secure and operational. Last night, a significant issue affected Windows servers and workstations worldwide, leading to system crashes. Some of our customers use CrowdStrike and were affected by this issue. While AIT does not use CrowdStrike, we immediately engaged in addressing the impact on our valued customers who have CrowdStrike deployed. Our teams from Customer Management, Security Operations, Network Operations, Service Desk, Professional Services, and AIT’s Global Delivery Center in India worked through the night to implement the recommended fixes from CrowdStrike. Multiple bridges were set up to manage and resolve the situation efficiently, ensuring continuous communication with all affected customers. We extend our gratitude to all team members who worked diligently and to our customers for their understanding and cooperation. This incident underscores the importance of having a dependable and responsive security partner.
