Welcome back to TUESDAY TREASURES: Unveiling the Best Brands! This week’s spotlight is on: Kensington. Kensington has been a leader in ergonomic innovation for 44 years. Kensington Microware was founded in 1981, releasing their first product, the Kensington System Saver, in 1982. It was the very first cooling device for personal computers. In 1986, the company was acquired by ACCO Brands and subsequently dropped the “microware” in its name. Today, Kensington has received over 50 product awards since 2016 and is a trusted name in office accessories!?

FAST FACT FRIDAY: Did you know Swingline?made it all the way to Hollywood? While the movie "Office Space" wasn't a box office hit when it was released in 1999, it became a cult classic on VHS. The film's portrayal of corporate life resonated with many, and fans clamored to get their hands on the infamous red stapler used by Milton. Interestingly, Swingline didn't make a standard red stapler at the time. The film's prop master, Stan Gilbert, created the red stapler by modifying a standard Swingline stapler and painting it red. Due to fan demand for the iconic piece of office equipment, Swingline introduced the red stapler in April 2002, and it has been a beloved product ever since!

Fast Fact Friday: have you ever seen our original logo? Created in 1902, the circular logo was inspired by the American Clip Co's goal of becoming a global name. Through the years the logo has changed quite a bit but the original circular element has stayed. Today, the iconic quarter-circle gradient is an homage to our beginnings as a humble paper clip manufacturer.
