Big news! I’m launching my company, Accessibly Yours LLC! I’m beyond proud and excited to build a company dedicated to making the hospitality industry as accessible and inclusive as possible. At Accessibly Yours, we’re working to highlight, improve, and create businesses that prioritize accessibility—not just for guests, but for the people who keep this industry running. For over a decade, I thrived behind the bar, loving every moment of hospitality (even the ugly moments). But three years ago, a car accident changed my reality. Suddenly, standing for an entire shift, lifting the weight required for my job, and even supporting my team in the ways I always had were no longer possible. I was fortunate to work for a company that provided benefits to full-time staff (a rare sight in this industry, as many know). I’ll be sharing a dedicated post on how that company supported me through this transition. With a background in design alongside my hospitality experience, I started developing a concept that could bridge the gap between accessibility and the industry—not just for guests, but for businesses and workers as well. This is a journey of learning, growing, and building a community that can bring joy and prosperity to those who share the vision of a truly accessible hospitality space. Thank you all for your support—I can’t wait to see where this journey takes us! Accessibly Yours, H
