ACCESS Health International, in collaboration with AVPN, SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute, and Takeda, successfully co-hosted the first Southeast Asia Access to Medicine (SEA AtM) Summit in Bangkok. The summit convened over 100 leaders from across the healthcare ecosystem to address the persistent challenges in ensuring sustainable and equitable access to medicines. Gaps in screening, diagnostics, and treatment continue to hinder healthcare access in Southeast Asia, making cross-sector collaboration essential for driving meaningful change. Access to healthcare remains a critical challenge in Southeast Asia, where gaps in screening, diagnostics, and treatment persist. As Dr. N. Krishna Reddy, CEO of ACCESS Health International, emphasized, “Southeast Asia’s healthcare challenges demand innovative, integrated, and collaborative solutions. Forums like this Summit provide a critical platform for cross-industry dialogue, fostering partnerships that can drive meaningful and lasting change.” A key outcome of the summit was the Southeast Asia Access to Medicines Pledge, a commitment by all partners to champion inclusive healthcare systems, foster innovation through collaboration, advocate for evidence-based policy transformation, amplify community voices in decision-making, and establish measurable milestones to track progress. #AccessToMedicines #UniversalHealthCoverage #HealthcareEquity #GlobalHealth #PublicHealth #HealthSystems #HealthEquity #SustainableHealthcare

The ACCESS Health International colleagues Girish Bommakanti and Mariam Raouf participated in Arab Health 2025, one of the largest healthcare gatherings in the region. Held between January 27th and 30th, 2025, this platform provided a vital opportunity to engage with government stakeholders, pharmaceutical leaders, and medical device manufacturers to address key challenges and opportunities in the life sciences sector.
