??What an incredible week it was for Mars Materials!?? Last Wednesday, we proudly opened the doors to our pilot laboratory at the Shell Technology Center Houston (STCH) Facility. And if that wasn’t enough excitement, on Thursday, we had the honor of hosting a visit from Bill Gates! Thank you Bill for taking the time to tour our facility and learn about our work firsthand. As a Breakthrough Energy Fellows backed company, its support has enabled us to design, fabricate and commission our pilot unit. With the support of its network, we were also able to develop pilot plant siting capabilities that accelerated our relocation to Houston and an opportunity to partner with Shell to host our pilot program. As a STCH partner, we are proud to collaborate to mature our health, safety, security and environmental infrastructure as well as benefit from scale and supply chain. At Mars, we’re committed to pioneering solutions that address the world’s most pressing challenges.
