SoarTech successfully demonstrated our JITMATE application at Northern Strike 24 in Oscoda, MI, from August 5–15. SoarTech scientists Jeff Craighead, Ph.D. and Glenn Taylor participated in this National Guard training event to support the AFRL’s JITMMA/W program. A key objective was to showcase the Air Force's Agile Combat Environment (ACE) concept, focusing on training warfighters in hot-pit refueling. During the event, our team trained Airmen and Marines on hot-pit refueling a KC-135 with an R-11 fuel truck. We showcased JITMATE, a multi-modal chat-like agent that uses verbal and gesture-based interactions to guide users through procedures. JITMATE leverages SoarTech’s Autonomous Virtual Assistant (AVA) and SpeechZero to deliver content through various modalities, including speech, text, graphics, and augmented reality.
