Adult Education Career Pathways programs combine learning, financial assistance, and support services to help you begin training for a rewarding career, even before you’ve earned your high school equivalency certificate. Programms we offer: *Certificate programs: Train for a career or get industry-certified in months in free certificate programs. *Level Up Program: Earn free college-level classes, textbooks and academic support. *No diploma? No problem: Through the Ability to Benefit program, you can begin taking classes even if you don’t have a high school diploma. *Internationally Trained Professionals: Learn how to apply training gained in your home country to opportunities in the U.S.

ACC is gearing up for the 2024 election and is encouraging everyone to check their voter registration and make a plan to vote this fall. ACC will host several events to educate and register voters, including resource fairs that begin today, a speaker series, and "Parades to the Polls." As the Coordinator and Instructor of Medical Certification Programs in Career Pathways, Kim excels in guiding students towards successful careers in the medical field. ???? With over 8 years of experience teaching leadership, business skills, entrepreneurship, and communications, Kim has mentored high school and college students at Texas State University and Austin Community College. She’s also supported veterans transitioning to civilian careers through Salesforce. ???? Kim co-founded Central Texas's first high school entrepreneurship program using the Incubatoredu curriculum. This innovative program has empowered over 1,200 students and expanded to more than 50 schools across the state. ???? She has also provided mentorship to business owners from Mali and Nigeria through the Mandela Washington Fellowship and helped UT McCombs students and startups through the UT Austin Technology Incubator. ???? In addition to her educational achievements, Kim has over 20 years of experience in marketing, business management, and communications, having worked with top companies like National Instruments, Facebook, and AT&T. I’ve taught English as a Second Language, American Sign Language, and have experience working with students with Dyslexia and reading comprehension challenges. ??? I truly enjoy working and learning with students, especially here at Austin Community College. The diversity of students at ACC is incredible and exciting! ?? It’s a privilege to meet and get to know people from all over the world, with diverse backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives. It’s amazing to catch a glimpse of life through so many different lenses!
