How to identify shell companies and key risk indicators- look for outliers like too young (babies) or too old members (145)of the BOD or owners. How to uncover ownership structures and beneficial owners - verify and document and check multiple data sources ?? The industries where shell companies thrive - Business Services, Wholesale, and Retail ?? The US regulatory roller coaster and what to watch out for - CTA new rules forthcoming, pauses on enforcement do not mean de-regulation.
