This morning, I had to shake off the heartache, depression, anxiety, anger — and even some rage — aching to settle in. My assumption is that many of you may have felt something similar. These moments remind us of the challenges we face and the work we still have ahead of us, which can feel overwhelming.
But I want you to know — A Call to Men is here.
Today, tomorrow, and in the years to come, we remain committed to standing beside you, fighting alongside you, resisting alongside you, and working toward a world rooted in respect, empathy, and shared humanity.
We believe in a society where ALL women are safe, where Black women are honored, heard, and seen, and where each of us can live authentically and free from violence.
In challenging times like this, we don’t do the kind of work that allows us to just stay under the covers. Instead, we rise. We step forward as “first responders” in service of collective liberation.
But to keep moving forward, it’s essential that we take care of ourselves now. Let’s prioritize our individual well-being so we can continue to show up for our families and our communities.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us. We’re here for you.
In solidarity,
Tony Porter
