Amplifying ?? this incredible work supported by a PBRI Sunnybrook seed grant co-led by Amanda Squires NP & Blaire Jones SW under incredible mentorship of Craig Dale, RN, PhD, CNCC(C) Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing presented today @ Academy of Neonatal Nursing conference New Orleans. Amanda's research explored the experience of parents implementing an infant massage program for our very littlest patients ?? ? Parents reported their babies were observed smiling, giggling or laughing in response to the massage ? Nearly all parents report an improved understanding of their baby’s cues and relationship with their baby ? Parents reported they have developed a new skill that they enjoy and can provide value. Incredible work inspired by Amanda's clinical practice & her passion to ask how can we do better? ??
