This week, Ivy and Ernie were the first two students to attend the two-day All Floor Workshop at the Academy. Not only did they learn new information, but they also?had plenty of hands-on training time during the class. We will hold this new class every month during 2025 for technicians and management to hone their skills on all types of floor surfaces: VCT, LV, Stone, Carpet, Concrete, Tile, and Rubber. Custodian Benito Ruybal, with the Southern Ute Clean Team of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe, was recognized for his outstanding service at the state level, as reported by the Southern Ute Drum this week. Jess Baidwan MESCE FMP presented the official award on February 12th. Ruybal said, "It felt amazing to know that my team and the organization were voting and rooting for me to win this award."
